“Money Talks, Bullshit Walks”

Hi Magical One!

Have you seen the movie “The Boss” with Melissa McCarthy? It’s a silly comedy about a powerful entrepreneurial woman who is totally messed up.

In the beginning of the movie it shows her putting on this huge event with all the bells and whistles. At the event they announce her and include that she is the author of the best selling book “Money Talks, Bullshit Walks”.

I about died laughing!

Did they seriously use that as her book title? Haha!

Then I wondered if anyone else (in real life) had used that same book title and did a quick Amazon search.

There is. Several of them. More comedy in my life. (Go ahead, check for yourself)

This book title got me thinking about the truth behind it and how that looks in the real world.

I view money as an energy exchange. When someone is serious about what you have to offer and see the value of it, they will exchange their hard earned dollars for it. The need/want/desire has to be greater than the effort they put into making it. Part 1 of the energy equation.

The other part is you.

You have to charge enough to where YOU feel it’s an equal exchange for your time and effort, plus your years of experience. An equal exchange for the energy that you will put into it.

It needs to be an even exchange or someone will feel jipped and resentment is bound to happen.

Be sure you are charging enough for your services so that you feel it’s a fair and even exchange of your energy and their energy.

This is how money talks.

The B.S.? You don’t want that in your life. Let it walk. Like the unicorn poser it is.

There’s no B.S. in the Success Circle. Only a fair and even exchange. Weekly. Plus all the replays.
